One Year Already!

Un post frettoloso, scritto rubando qualche minuto qui e qualche minuto là a una RL che in questo periodo (e per mia fortuna) non mi lascia spazio per Second Life. Ma un post che dovevo scrivere, e che dovevo scrivere oggi. Le illustrazioni sono tratte dall’album fotografico di un anno di vita insieme.

Chiedo scusa se stavolta ho fatto una deroga alla mia abitudine di tradurre in italiano tutti i dialoghi in inglese. Ma il breve scambio di IM riportato qui sopra ha per me un significato particolare perché costituisce il primissimo contatto fra me e Andromeda Sawson. Che, in quel momento, per me era soltanto l’ennesima candidata al banishment. Che, il giorno dopo, avrebbe cambiato la mia seconda vita per sempre. E io la sua.

Il giorno dopo abbiamo parlato un po’, con Andromeda. Poi l’ho invitata a Villa BDSM, dove Belias partecipava a uno di quei concorsi in cui, di fatto, vince chi riesce a far venire in una data land il maggior numero di persone (qualche immagine dell’evento si trova in questo post). Andro ha acconsentito volentieri auspicando, con una risatina, che questo le assicurasse, quando fosse venuto il tempo del suo banishment, un trattamento di favore. Ho risposto con un sorrisetto: “Grazie, lascia che ti tippi… sarò… eheheh… sarò… giusta!”.

Le ho mandato il TP. Erano le 0:24 del 10 ottobre. Ed ecco il primissimo dialogo dal vivo fra di noi:

Non so cosa mi avesse preso a voler subito allungare le dita sulle chiavi di Andromeda. Forse era la mia professionalità di Bane Operator, che mi suggeriva di tenerla al sicuro intanto che recuperava il denaro per la cauzione… forse avevo paura che lo facesse per prima Belias. Ma credo invece che fosse già scattato qualcosa: quella biondina allegra, che prendeva la sua Second Life con la leggerezza di chi sa che è un mondo in gran parte di fantasia… ma anche con la serietà di chi sa che la fantasia è una cosa troppo importante per viverla senza regole, ed è ben determinata a seguire fino in fondo le conseguenze delle sue scelte. Almeno nella sicurezza del metaverso.

E aveva un relay RLV aperto.

Andromeda non aveva ancora fatto a tempo a votare per Belias che io avevo già messo il naso nella sua cartella RLV e le avevo scritto in IM: “Wow, pretty cool RLV folder! ;-) “. Per poi proseguire in public chat, con un ghigno, dopo che Belias aveva ottenuto il voto: “Adesso sarò un Operator molto più tollerante. Mi limiterò ad essere MOLTO rigida… non ESTREMAMENTE rigida!” E qui, chiedo di nuovo scusa, lascio la parola alla registrazione di quello che è successo allora. Senza tradurlo.

Lo ero davvero? Ero veramente la Mistress che Andromeda stava cercando? Esattamente un anno dopo, quello che posso dire con certezza è che Andro era la sub che io cercavo senza rendermene conto: qualcuno che, come me, fa il possibile per evitare il drama che, nei rapporti BDSM virtuali, è sempre in agguato, ma che, una volta che il problema sia scoppiato, sa starmi accanto per tentare di risolverlo o superarlo con la massima serietà. Qualcuno che è sempre un vulcano di idee (il WCF nasce, tanto per dire, dalla piccola prigione personale che Andro costruì perché potessi chiudercela dentro). Qualcuno che appena ha un attimo mette nei guai se stessa e gli altri col sorriso sulle labbra. Qualcuno che, donandomi le chiavi del suo collare, mi ha offerto la possibilità di scoprire una Win che non conoscevo – quella stessa Win che oggi può sorridere raggiante per il fatto di avere, oltre a quello di Andromeda, i collari di alcune persone che adora.

In questo periodo, la RL sembra complottare per tenerci lontane: io lavoro moltissimo e anche Andromeda non riesce quasi più a collegarsi durante la giornata. Del resto, accade quasi lo stesso alla parte più ristretta della mia bella famiglia: sono occupatissime in questi giorni anche Lella, Lorella e Jelena, e le rarissime occasioni che abbiamo di abbracciarci sono spesso troppo veloci. Eppure, anche in questo essere in parte prigioniere del “non essere” che la forzata astinenza da Second Life ci impone, io sento che la nostra famiglia ormai c’è, che tiene e che, fra l’altro, include  ormai una lista di amici e amiche che non saprei nemmeno da che parte iniziare ad elencare – in parte guardie del WCF, in parte vicine di casa nella land che Lella ha comprato per noi, in parte, semplicemente, persone speciali per un motivo o per un altro, e a cui spero presto di poter dedicare una piccola galleria di ritratti.

Credo che questa famiglia, anche se ne fanno parte tante persone che conoscevo prima del 10 ottobre dell’anno scorso, esista in gran parte grazie al mio incontro con Andro: un piccolo granellino attorno a cui, un anno fa, ha cominciato a crescere qualcosa che va molto al di là di qualsiasi cosa avrei mai potuto sognare di trovare su Second Life quando ho creato il mio account.

Andromeda, sweetie, thanks for existing. Here’s to our first, extraordinary year together and to whatever has yet to come!
